interview!!

so.. i have an interview next week for costume north and i cant wait to meet the crew. I want to gain allot of experience with this placement including being more confident with clients and producers, the making of the costumes,  seeing how the designs get developed and the style they use would be interesting. but i will keep you posted :)

interview !!!

so .. ive finally got an interview !! at last :) . its at costume north in manchester, they design costumes for film , programmes and theatre which is great because i understand each costume is made different for the show and the situation. marie has offered me 2 weeks already which is fantastic as i would of been lucky to just  have 2 days :) .. i cant wait to start my placement and get some more experience .

GOK WAN!!! :)

one of my idols is gok wan i admire the way he looks at garments and creates his own style and one day i would love to be like him . I actually met him at the knitting and stitching show in harragate and his work is amazing hes so inspiring!!

how hard it has been

i would just like to say how hard it has been trying to find a placement in the wardrobe/costume business and that i will be taking another path as it is a downward spiral and no theatres do original wardrobe designers any more apart from in Broadway.

Final Show At College

This was my final major design show and this was great to know that i had achieved this and that it got me into uni.

Skydiving

I did a skydive for Rosemere Cancer Foundation and raised £567 for this charity.It was one of the best experiences of my life and i would deffinatly do it all over again.

Passing my Driving Test

I passed my driving test on my second attempt but this was great to know i am now an independant driver and it is so much more practical.

Becoming a Godmother

I am now a godmother to my cousin's baby 'Alex' i couldnt be happier. Hes Beautifull! :)

I do like it my name most of the time, but the only thing i don't like about my name is that it can be a boys name and everyone refers my name to the footballer or get it wrong and call me Katie or Kassi.

Name i would choose- Jasmine, I have always liked this name and would call my daughter Jasmine if i ever have children.
